Are you looking for a quick, easy and delicious weekend breakfast? I’ve got one for you, but you have to trust me on it because it doesn’t look like much but it definitely tastes awesome.
This breakfast is deceptive, only 2 ingredients, but I promise that it tastes better than many breakfast recipes that have heaps of ingredients. In any case, before you’ve had a coffee, you really don’t want to try to make a recipe that is too complicated, this one you could make with your eyes still half closed.
Bacon and Tomato Breakfast
200g of bacon
1kg of tomatoes
Chop your bacon into 1inch squares. Fry the bacon until lightly coloured and a touch crispy.
Roughly chop your tomatoes and then add them to the pan. Cover with a lid and simmer on a medium heat until the tomatoes are disintegrating.
Serve on toast with fresh cracked pepper.
